| WoW Forever zone count | The opening article says three new zones; the panel recap names four regions | Ambiguous |
| Named regions | Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen'dralas, and Mount Hyjal | Confirmed |
| Unpublished detail | Shen'dralas and Mount Hyjal ranges, plus a complete official map, zone order, or quest list | Not announced |
Blizzard's opening ceremony article says "three new zones." The What's Next Panel Recap names four regions. Both are first-party; Blizzard has not explained the mismatch or whether Mount Hyjal is new, expanded, or both.
What Blizzard has said
| Region or feature | Announced detail | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Zephras Isle | Levels 1 through 12; elemental, skybound themes and Skywall-inspired architecture. Panel recap | Confirmed |
| Riverglades | Mid-level and roughly Stranglethorn Vale in size. The earlier panel recap says mid-30s to mid-40s and more than 150 new quests; the later Found Photos recap says nearly 200 quests for Horde and Alliance. | Ambiguous count |
| Shen'dralas and Mount Hyjal | No ranges; Shen'dralas is between Mulgore and Desolace, and Mount Hyjal follows Archimonde's defeat. Panel recap | Confirmed |
| New and expanded zones | Battle.net advertises them but gives no complete roster. Battle.net | Confirmed |
| Later playable area | Spring 2027: new quests and a playable area; zone unnamed. Warcraft roadmap | Planned |
The panel describes a level 1 to 60 journey with more than 1,000 new quests. The Skyborne race and Zephras Isle start require the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher. See the leveling guide and Skyborne guide.
Found Photos routes and quest context
Blizzard's newer Found Photos Panel Recap adds travel and local-story detail without publishing a complete zone order. It names ship routes from Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine, through Menethil, Southshore, and Auberdine, and from the Steamwheedle Cartel in Tanaris toward Riverglades. Riverglades' named destination is Powderfuse Port; the recap also calls out gnolls, ogres, Powderfuse goblins, the Twilight's Hammer, and the Brotherhood of the Horse.
The same recap says Wetlands gains quests, Desolace's centaur faction quests gain content and rewards, and Shen'dralas opens south of Desolace through the Valley of Bones with stories connected to Eldre'Thalas. It describes Mount Hyjal through the aftermath of the Battle for Mount Hyjal. These are announced story and travel anchors, not a route walkthrough.
Riverglades count conflict
Keep both first-party figures visible. The What's Next recap says more than 150 new quests in the mid-30s to mid-40s context. The later Found Photos recap says nearly 200 quests for Horde and Alliance. Blizzard has not clarified whether the figures use different scopes or reflect a revision.
Names, maps, and unknowns
No complete WoW Forever map, route, sequence, or quest-by-zone list is published; a numbered guide would go beyond the evidence. Community posts use “Riverlands” and “Zephyr Isles,” but those spellings are unverified; the panel's first-party names are Riverglades and Zephras Isle.
Still unknown:
- What the opening article's three-zone count excludes from the four panel regions, including whether Mount Hyjal is expanded.
- Which original zones are expanded or reimagined; Blizzard has not named them.
- Level ranges, faction restrictions, travel routes, and attunements for regions without full details.
- Whether the Riverglades count is a scope difference or a revised total: more than 150 in the earlier recap versus nearly 200 in Found Photos.
- The Spring 2027 playable area's name and ship date; the roadmap gives only a season.
- A complete zone, map, and quest list beyond the published 1,000-plus total.
Zone FAQ
Are there three or four new WoW Forever zones?
Unresolved: the opening article says three, while the panel recap names Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen'dralas, and Mount Hyjal. Keep the conflict open.
Is there a complete zone map or order?
No reviewed source publishes a full map, route order, or quest-by-zone list, so this page does not invent one.
