Blizzard describes the WoW Forever Skyborne race as a new playable elven race. Zephras Isle is its elemental, skybound starting experience for levels 1 through 12, with Classic Warcraft aesthetics and architecture inspired by Skywall. Skyborne factions and classes are confirmed
At character creation, a Skyborne player chooses Horde or Alliance. Horde-aligned Skyborne follow elemental traditions and gain access to Shaman. Alliance-aligned Skyborne follow their ancestors' arcane legacy and gain access to Mage. Both factions can play Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Druid.
The panel recap gives the current Skyborne class list and confirms new druid forms, racials, customizations, voices, dances, and visual options. It does not name the racial abilities or list the individual druid forms. The official Skyborne short uses the lines "Travel the Arcane road with the Alliance" and "Master the Elements with the Horde." Those lines describe the two faction paths, but they are not a complete ruleset.
Heroic Pack access for Skyborne and Zephras Isle
Battle.net's Product Requirements say access to the Skyborne race or the Zephras Isle starting experience questline requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition. A WoW Subscription or Game Time grants base access to Forever at launch, but it does not grant the Skyborne entitlement. The Battle.net product page and Blizzard's pre-purchase announcement separate race access from beta access.
The Skyborne Heroic Pack includes the race and Zephras Isle starting experience, not beta access. The Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection include those Heroic benefits plus beta access beginning September 17. What Blizzard has not published about Skyborne and Zephras Isle
Blizzard has not published Skyborne racial ability names, the exact druid-form list, a faction-change policy, or the complete Zephras Isle map, landmarks, and starting quest sequence. The Forever announcement schedules a Forever Deep Dive for September 13 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Until Blizzard publishes more, the racial mechanics and deeper Zephras Isle lore remain unannounced.
