What Blizzard has said
The Battle.net product page names Dwarf Shaman as an expanded option. The What's Next panel recap says Horde-aligned Skyborne gain Shaman, while Alliance-aligned Skyborne gain Mage. The product page requires Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher for Skyborne and Zephras Isle.
Blizzard describes gameplay updates across all specializations, with noticeable talents and abilities, meaningful trade-offs, and class identity as goals. It does not publish a Shaman rotation, spell list, totem list, role guide, or talent build.
Early player reads and community impressions
In community analysis, Ben (.khalma) describes Resto as strong, notes a preference for Riptide over Earth Shield, and says Enhancement looks strong with self-cast Bloodlust. Conversely, he raises Elemental mana sustain as an open concern and observes that Elemental Mastery appeared removed while Water Shield sat in Resto without passive MP5. These are unverified player observations. Blizzard's Deep Dive panel recap separately confirms that bonus healing grants one-third bonus damage to support hybrid casters, but specific talent trees, Bloodlust mechanics, and spec mana tuning remain unpublished.
What is still unknown
- Blizzard has not published a complete Forever race and class matrix. Dwarf Shaman and the Skyborne faction split do not prove every older pairing remains.
- Shaman roles, specialization changes, abilities, totems, rotations, and tuning are not detailed in the checked first-party pages.
- No checked first-party source publishes Dwarf Shaman art, names, lore, or racial abilities.
- A Forever Shaman build is not available from Blizzard. Wowhead's calculator mirrors WoW Classic, and wowtbc.gg lists Shaman as coming soon.
- No checked first-party source names a fourth Shaman specialization.
