WoW Forever Guides is a reference site for players following World of Warcraft: Forever. It collects a news archive, a beta reference, and guide pages for classes, races, systems, zones, dungeons, raids, the roadmap, and editions. The pages are generated from editorial packages in this repository; generated public/ is the upload boundary.
Start with the news archive for announcements and explainers. Use the beta reference for access rules, dates, installation notes, and unanswered questions. The classes, races, and topic guides link to each specific answer.
Evidence labels
The labels tell you how much weight to put on a statement.
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | A checked source supports the statement. It does not mean a future feature is live. |
| Planned | Blizzard announced a future date, roadmap card, or information event. |
| Reported | Press, datamine, or community material is relevant context, not first-party confirmation. |
| Unverified | The checked material does not establish the claim. It stays visible only when the question matters. |
The beta page also uses not officially answered for a policy that was not published in the checked sources. That phrase describes a gap. It does not prove that no policy exists. The private editorial record keeps finer states such as supported, announced/planned, ambiguous, and unsupported so a page does not flatten a conflict into one confident sentence.
The source trail
Article pages carry source links and a Sources list. Guide quick-fact rows link to the source used for each row. Editorial records keep source title, publisher, publication and retrieval times, claim locator, and status. When first-party pages disagree, both statements stay visible. The beta page keeps the October 21 versus October 22 conflict instead of picking one.
How updates work
Research comes before copy. The private corpus stores sources, facts, evidence, fact and evidence links, relations, and gaps. When source material changes, the documented process updates normalized staging records, rebuilds and validates the corpus, then reviews source and claim records before an editorial package changes. Packages record source-checked times; source records record retrieval times.
The site is static. A local build may render incomplete packages and uses search-exclusion metadata; a release build checks the publication manifest, timestamps, source URLs, and exact content set before writing public output. Deployment is a separate step. Only public/ is uploaded. Research, editorial audits, and operational notes stay private.
Limits
This page does not promise a beta slot, launch timing, support response, or an update schedule. A roadmap item is not evidence that content is playable. Open questions stay open. Examples include the beta date conflict and competing counts for raids, zones, and races. Use the linked Blizzard source for entitlements, account actions, and install instructions.
