The 2026 and 2027 plan covers a September 17 beta with play up to level 30, Early Name Reservation and Character Creation starting October 27, a November 4 launch, December 9 raid unlocks, winter Hardcore, and Spring/Summer 2027 updates. Beta cap and the one-day date conflict
The roadmap's autumn beta card schedules a planned window from September 17 through October 22 and says players can play up to level 30. Blizzard's current pre-purchase announcement instead says the beta begins September 17, 2026, and runs through October 21, 2026, Pacific time. The Battle.net product page repeats that end date.
The two first-party surfaces disagree by one day. Blizzard has not resolved the conflict, so the WoW Forever beta reference keeps both dates visible. It also keeps the level-30 statement labeled as a planned beta cap, not a live beta result.
The graphic puts Early Name Reservation and Character Creation on October 27. Blizzard's written terms give the window as October 27 through November 3, Pacific time, allow up to three characters, and say names are first-come, first-served without a guarantee. This is a reservation window, not a published character-transfer policy.
Launch and the first raid unlock
The roadmap places the WoW Forever launch on November 4. Blizzard's pre-purchase article gives the more precise global launch time as 3:00 p.m. PST, and the Battle.net page lists the product as available November 4. At this source check, those pages still described a future launch rather than a live release.
The roadmap's first endgame checkpoint is December 9, under a "Raids Unlock" milestone. The image lists Barrow Deeps as a 10-player raid, Hyjal Summit as a 20-player raid, and Onyxia's Lair as a 40-player raid. Those names, sizes, and the date come from the roadmap image. Hardcore and the 2027 update blocks
The winter section adds a separate World of Warcraft Forever Hardcore launch card. The image gives only the winter window. No checked first-party source adds a more precise date.
The Spring 2027 block lists two new raids, one 10-player and one 20-player, two new dungeons, two new class-and-race combinations, new quests and a playable area, and a PvP season refresh. The Summer block lists a revamped iconic raid, a new raid, expanded world content, two new dungeons, another PvP season refresh, and professions and legacy updates. The image gives no dates within either season, mechanics, names, or implementation details.
