Found Photos preview: a planned Forsaken Paladin journey
The Found Photos recap adds story and progression context to the announced pairing:
- Forsaken Paladins are described as former paladins who are deeply mistrusted by other Forsaken and are still learning what it means to channel the Light in undeath.
- Bandarion Keep, in the Whispering Wood of Tirisfal Glades, is a key location for that experience.
- The article uses Retribution as the framing for the path and says the class will have a level-60 epic mount quest.
- The official @Warcraft steed post corroborates the mount direction.
These are announced/planned details. Blizzard has not published a complete Forever race-and-class matrix, a spell list, or final tuning for the option.
Blizzard calls the playable option Forsaken Paladin. Warcraft Tavern calls it Undead Paladin. Those names describe one option, not two race and class combinations.
What is still unknown
- Whether the six-class demo snapshot ships at launch.
- Whether the reported racial traits add to or replace the vanilla set, and what their final effects are.
- Forsaken Paladin spell art, animations, voices, customizations, or an unlock rule.
- The official Lordaeron level range, bosses, and loot. Press reports a level 15 to 20ish target.
Class access and racial traits
In original WoW, Forsaken characters could be Warriors, Rogues, Priests, Mages, or Warlocks. That roster is background, not a WoW Forever guarantee. A Warcraft Tavern floor-demo table adds Paladin.
| Class group | Forever evidence | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Paladin | Blizzard names Forsaken Paladin; press also saw it in the demo | Confirmed |
| Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock | Original WoW baseline; the same five appear in the press demo | Reported |
Forsaken FAQ
Can Forsaken be Paladins in WoW Forever?
Yes. Blizzard names Forsaken Paladin as an expanded option. That confirms the pairing, not a Paladin build, role promise, spell list, or unlock rule. See the Paladin guide for class-level reports.
What classes can Forsaken play?
The original roster had five classes. A press demo showed those five plus Paladin, but Blizzard has not published the final Forever class matrix. Treat the six-class list as reported.
Are WoW Forever Forsaken racials confirmed?
No. Press tables list Will of the Forsaken, Cannibalize, Underwater Breathing, and Touch of the Grave. Output Lag reports a 5 percent drain effect, but Blizzard has not published final racial effects.
